A couple of years back I came across DoCB through Bandcamp, and was super into the intricate songwriting and balance between the three guitarists, so it was with great pleasure that I got to work with them on their debut album ‘The Night is for Dreamers’. Having previously self-recorded, the band did a lot of the groundwork themselves, and we had a hybrid approach to the studio process, which was nice and refreshing for me! We tracked and edited drums, then the guys took the drum stems and click tracks and recorded their parts, and a few days later we sat and re-amped and re-jigged guitars, basses and keys.
Since finishing the record, DoCB have had a wild year, with appearances at ArcTanGent and Damnation Festivals, as well as numerous other dates around the country.
